Kick off the 2026–2027 Passport to OVB with a trip to Germany during OceanFest, our four-day Oktoberfest-style celebration featuring Bavarian food, German-inspired beer, a commemorative stein release, specialty cocktails, and a four-course beer dinner.

No passport required. Join us in Ocean View for a weekend inspired by the food, beer, and traditions of Germany.

Thursday, September 24

German Beer Dinner | 6PM

OceanFest begins Thursday evening with a special four-course German beer dinner from Chef Maggie Williamson.

The menu will feature traditional Bavarian-inspired recipes paired with Ocean View Brewing beers for a one-night-only dinner celebrating the first destination of this year's Passport to OVB. Tickets required.

Friday, September 25

OceanFest Festbier Stein Release | 4–7 PM

Raise a stein to OceanFest with the release of our limited-edition commemorative glass.

From 4–7 PM, get an OceanFest stein filled with your choice of OceanFest Festbier or Got Waves Kölsch for $10, then enjoy $4 refills during the event.

Steins are available while supplies last.

Our kitchen is heading to Germany for the weekend with a special menu inspired by classic Bavarian and German dishes.

Kartoffelsuppe
Beer-braised cabbage, crispy bacon lardons, pretzel crunch, and microgreens

Flammkuchen
German flatbread with crème fraîche, crispy bacon lardons, caramelized onions, and chives

Knackwurst Dog
House sausage, bacon kraut, and beer mustard on a pretzel roll, served with chips and a pickle

Currywurst Platter
Crispy house bratwursts, curry ketchup, bacon kraut, and hand-cut fries

Schweinehaxe
Roasted ham hock, braised red cabbage, German potato salad, and beer mustard

Wiener Schnitzel
Thinly pounded veal, house spätzle, braised red cabbage, and mushroom gravy

Black Forest Cake
Chocolate cake, cherries, chocolate brandy syrup, shaved dark chocolate, whipped cream, and vanilla ice cream
